The kindergartner put eyeshadow on the singer to match her dress! LOVE! Once again the pictures were colored in with such an innate sense of the unit of all cultures! :0)
The kindergarten was given a few pages of people playing instruments to color. We live in a diverse neighborhood and it was just beautiful to see these kids make the musicians like the rainbow! QUEEN GODIS is an International Poet, MC, Performance Artist, & Performance Art Therapist who serves a host of communities seeking transformation through art. A provocative blend of Hip Hop, Story-Telling, & Soul, her work has been featured across the United States, South Africa, throughout Europe, India and the Caribbean. Her creative process has been documented by MTV Radio, NPR, BBC, WBAI, MSG Network, Channel 13’s Many Voices and the HBO documentary series Brave New Voices. She has written and performed three solo off-Broadway shows, produced an album “Power U!” and been published in several international poetry anthologies. Queen is currently facilitating art-development courses through QGUniversity, creating new work including a book/cd, and The Adventures of Auntie Queen - an inter-generational, multi-media project that chronicles lessons and diversions from her travels.
